INGREDIENTS:
• 400g of already made supreme semolina swallow
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/3 cup of sugar
• 2 tbsp powdered milk
• 1/4 tsp nutmeg
• 1/3 cup of cornstarch
• 40g melted butter
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
• Boil some water in a pot, then proceed to making your supreme semolina by pouring it into the hot water while stirring consistently. Once it forms a dough, add little water, reduce the heat and allow to steam for few minutes then stir one last time.
• Measure out 400g from the already made swallow then allow to cool down.
• Melt your butter on low heat in a microwave for 1min then combine your dried ingredients (salt, sugar, milk, nutmeg, cornstarch) in a separate bowl then set aside.
• Add the cooled down supreme semolina swallow, vanilla essence and melted butter into your mixed dried ingredients then mix with your hands to form a dough.
• Allow the dough to rest for 10minutes, then roll it out flat. Using a cookie cutter of your choice, cut out the dough then transfer into your air fryer or oven and bake at 180celius for 25-30minutes or until it’s golden brown.
• Or fry in a preheated oil until it’s golden brown.
• Note: once warm both the crackers/cookies and the buns will be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside making it a perfect snack to snack with your loved ones.
