FISH AND CABBAGE PASTA

INGREDIENTS:

  • Oil
  • Onions, chopped.
  • Pepper
  • Curry leaves
  • Mackerel fish, mashed.
  • Spices and seasonings
  • Cabbage
  • Crown premium slim pasta
  • Salt
  • Sesame oil
  • Spring onions, for garnish.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Heat up some oil in a pan.
  • Add chopped onions in the oil until they are translucent.
  • Add pepper to the pan according to your liking and stir well.
  • Add curry leaves to the pan and sauté for additional flavor.
  • Add mashed mackerel fish to the pan and mix well.
  • Season the mixture with your preferred spices and seasonings.
  • Once the mixture is fragrant and the fish is cooked, add cabbage to the pan.
  • Reserve some cabbage for the last part of the recipe.
  • Mix everything together properly.
  • In a separate pot, bring water to a boil.
  • Add salt to the boiling water.
  • Add crown premium slim pasta to the pot and cook for 8-9 minutes or until al dente.
  • Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and transfer it into the sauce in the pan.
  • Add the reserved cabbage to the pan as well.
  • Give everything a very good mix to ensure the pasta is well coated with the sauce and the flavors are evenly distributed.
  • Drizzle some sesame oil over the pasta and sauce mixture.
  • Garnish the dish with chopped spring onions for a fresh flavor and added visual appeal.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your delicious and flavorful pasta dish!
